I belive that renderd planets would add tpo the gameplay, for example fi your are running from a pirate in a sector with a gas giant, you think damn im not gonna loose this guy, but then go for diving into the gas planet and atempting to loose the rat in there. I know that it would require sectors with planets in them to be made into one (cause many times the planet streches over 4 or more sectors).
